ALL ABOUT
NARDIA CHERRY

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My name is Nardia Cherry and I was born and raised in sunny Queensland, Australia. My journey from Australia to Canada began when, after spending too much time behind a desk as a property manager, I branched out into the tourism industry. With my love of skiing and outdoors, Canada seemed like a wonderful way to experience something new. I found myself packing up for a 7 month opportunity in Canada, and 6 years later here I am, in my dream role and dream location.

What drew me to Physicians for You is my love for facilitating people and resources and wanting a career where I can make a difference in people’s lives. With a background in real estate and travel and the love for a fast paced environment, I have found recruitment to be the perfect fit. Being in property management for ten years provided me with the foundation for managing a busy portfolio and working to important timelines. Understanding the needs of individuals and families as well as the requirements to fit each situation was a core responsibility that played a significant part in my previous roles and is an even more impactful part of my daily interactions now. I recognise that finding a physician that perfect role is not everything. It is also about the big picture of location and work life balance for them and their family.

The challenges I had with moving to a new country all by myself with little support has given me the personal experience and passion to help others make their move, whether that is a move to a different role locally, or to another province or town, or internationally. What I love is that we are there with you every step of the way. Our wonderful team at Physicians for You are here to support in every aspect we can. I feel I am able to give personal insight and assistance in helping you make the choice that’s right for you.
