Job Details: Our client in South Surrey/White Rock, British Columbia is looking for full-time and/or part-time Family Physicians to join their Family Practice for longitudinal care. Hours of work and patient loads are flexible, can be 15 to 30+ patients per day, your choice.
You will have access to a close knit and supportive physician community, primary care and specialists alike, with opportunities to work in the hospital and other specialized clinics available. Our clinic lead physician is co-owner and experienced with local and provincial health care systems - both in accessing physician and patient supports. She is a keen and experienced mentor to learners and colleagues.
Our other provider is a former family medicine residency director from the US who is also a keen teacher and mentor, and together they foster a collaborative and collegial office culture, as well as encourage the pursuit of additional passions and interests in medicine, as well as community engagement.
Embedded are efficient workflows and resources to support excellent productivity, but overall, the clinic emphasizes work/life balance and quality care.

Payment structure is your choice of:
•Fee-for-service (FFS) where the income is entirely dependent on your patient volume, with a range of potential full-time annual earnings of $350,000 - $400,000.
•New Longitudinal Family Physician (LFP) fee model which offers an average full-time annual income of $385,000.
Split arrangement is 75/25 once established, with consideration to decrease overhead split in the first 3 months depending on the payment structure chosen. Both the FFS and LFP models include quarterly payments dependent on the physician's patient panel size and complexity level. These payments average around $50,000 per year for a full-time physician, and this payment would include no overhead.
Incentives available to the Physician: Health & Wellness Discounts. Signing bonus may be available depending on the candidate.
Clinic Details: This 1000 sq. ft, 4 Exam Room Family Practice has new equipment and computers available in all exam rooms. There is a private physician charting area and autoclave as well. The clinic has an experienced and responsive support staff available to include patient preparation prior to appointments (weight, BPs, etc), help with referrals; complete billing support; and collaborative support from the local Primary Care Network, including RN, social worker, and community pharmacist, among many others. The clinic is set up to provide both in-person care, virtual appointments with camera or telephone and online booking is available.
